12My dream destination at ABC Both guide and porters have good experience on trekking, good take care and always advise us during trekking to ABC. Moreover, they also are talkative and entertain us all the time while we were trekking. The tour guide is calm and good take care till we reached the ABC. On the way, we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In addition, I saw the mountains were cover by snow, it is a nice view I have never seen before. Such a breathtaking view it is!
Impressive ABC trip Among the great natural vibes, one of the important things is the professional guild. Prakash and his team were really impressive. They gave me much helpful advice and information along with their humor and friendship. I'll never forget that trip.
Annapurna Base Camp is the shortest treks of all 8,000 m base camps around the Himalayas, can cover in a week time from Pokhara to Pokhara, or one can extend for few more days. There are various options to reach Annapurna base camp taking a long or short straight route.
For Annapurna base camp and for all Annapurna Himalaya region requires trekking permits TIMS (Trekking Information Management Systems), as well ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) entry fee.
Till Chomrong most lodges are of nice and spacious rooms attached bath or common, from Chomrong onwards to Annapurna base camp the accommodation is simple and basic. Where all bath and toilets are common but the foods are excellent with long-range of items that one can order. From continental, Indian, Chinese, Tibetan, and Nepalese meals.
Nearly all lodges on main trails around Annapurna do have hydroelectricity with some places have solar power, where guest can charge their electronic appliances, on paying some fees for charging your gadgets.
It is not a difficult or tough walk, but yes it leads to many steep ups and downhill, like in all Himalayas region. But taking it slowly with enough rest stops will be all right, walking on well-defined trails not overall difficult. Where all age-group can handle the walks to Annapurna Base Camp.
