Accommodation on the Trekking in Nepal, Nepal is a country bounded by a high Himalayan chain of high snow-capped peaks from below 6,000 above 7,000 m high. ANNAPURNA HIMALAYA REGION:

Annapurna Himalaya region, One of the most popular adventure destinations in the Himalayas range, where one can find the best good accommodation. From simple to standard as well as high-class resorts and lodges. Depending upon the region of trekking southern Annapurna area offers a simple budget class to semi-luxury rooms.

Most simple and budget-standard lodges provide common bathing and toilets, as well as attached baths also. Where all rooms with single or twin beds, Are well furnished with clean bed sheets, pillows, and blankets. On the northern side of Annapurna around the Manang area, all lodges with nice room accommodations with common bathing and toilets.

Due to harsh terrain and cold climate, where toilets need to be outside as the water freezes for flushing. The only place in the Annapurna region is en route to the Annapurna base camp from Chomrong village onward. Normally all lodges are simple with cleanrooms to accommodate having common toilets and bathing.

EVEREST HIMAL REGION:

Everest Himal region is another popular adventure destination after the Annapurna region, where trekkers can find excellent accommodations of choice. From Lukla onward to Namche and at Pangboche villages, with various options to choose from the simple budget, standard to luxury room comforts.

Most simple budget lodges offer rooms with twin beds having common bathing and toilets. Higher up to Lobuche and Gorakshep, all rooms are nice and cozy but with common bathe and toilets to share. This is due to the harsh cold climate that freezes the pipeline making it hard for flushing the toilets.        

LANGTANG HIMAL REGION:

Langtang Himal region, another famous and popular trekking, and other adventure is the closest mountainous region to Kathmandu. On route to Langtang valley or towards Gosiankund pond, one can find good standard lodges and hotels at Dhunche town and Syabrubesi with attached bathe.

From Syabrubesi onward lodges are nice, and cozy till Kyanjin but with common bathing, toilets offer a nice warm dining room. The dining hall is the most attractive of all lodges with warm rooms and enough sunlight during the daytime.

MANASLU HIMAL REGION:

Manaslu Himal Region falls within a restricted trekking area of Nepal recently been open for trekkers since 1991. Where drive reaches as far as Maccha-Khola village around the district of Gorkha, starting from the first overnight village. The lodge is nice and simple but clean with twin sharing rooms around Jagat, Namrung.

At Lo-Gaon the lodges are of a good standard with the best room available with an attached bath in a few nice lodges. As the trek leads further around Upper Manaslu valley the lodges at Sama Gaon and Samdu are simple. But clean rooms to accommodate common bathing, due to high altitude terrain and cold temperatures, morning and night time. 

Further at the base of Larke-La Pass around Phedi or Dharmasala, the rooms are very simple due to their location. Dharmasala with few lodges to accommodate hundreds of trekkers, where rooms are very simple and basic. In high seasons of trekking, where trekkers have to spend overnight in tented camps provided by the lodge.

On crossing over the high Larke-La Pass and reaching the Manang area at Bhimthang, the lodges are up to the standard than at Dharmasala or Sama-Gaon, due to altitude wise.

Rooms are nice and cozy with common bathing and toilets to share, but in the end on reaching Dharapani village. The accommodation is much better than on previous overnights, where one can find nice rooms with attached baths and toilets. Please note in all popular trekking routes in high seasons, single rooms supplements might not be available

OFF THE BEATEN TRAIL:

Off the beaten trails, is Around Nepal Himalaya besides popular and mainstream trekking routes, there are many hidden pockets and remote adventure destinations. Off-the-beaten trails lead away from the mainstream walking path as well as far from human settlements and villages.

Trek leads to complete wilderness where lodges are not available, some areas off the beaten trails with few simple accommodations.

Choosing the beaten trails trekking one needs to be well-equipped by joining the best local trekking agencies. Where the company provides excellent equipment, tents with other facilities required for camping with a cook and kitchen staff. Off the beaten trails around Annapurna to Mardi Himal, Panchase Hill, and Khopra Ridge trekking, where lodges are simple. 

Important and necessary camping is required off the beaten trails around Dhaulagiri, the Far Western areas of Dolpa, and Limi Valley. As well as the far eastern region of Kanchenjunga and Makalu base camps, where good accommodation is hard to find. The best option on off-the-beaten trails is carrying camping equipment and food for the whole trek.
