1On arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport received by Hike Himalaya guide and staff with a traditional welcome of garlands. Then a short drive to your hotel in the comfort of nice rooms for refreshing moments, after resting from jet-leg and walk to the hotel’s lobby.

2the morning after a good breakfast an exciting drive to Chitwan around Nepal Mid-South around low flatland of sub-tropical temperatures, as drive, reach your hotels at Saura town. Located near the entrance of National Park premises, then check in a nice hotel, lodge, or resort.
After checking in a lovely room, then back to the garden for a briefing by the jungle guide and naturalist of the jungle programs, getting refreshed and rest. Start afternoon activity with a short walk to Tharu village, the indigenous tribe of Terai. Evening enjoys the dinner with an exciting Tharu cultural dance performance.

3The lodge and hotels will set the jungle programs according to time-table start the early morning, before breakfast with various activities, such as follows morning Bird Watch Tour, Machan (Watch Tower) Tour, Jungle walks, nature walks, elephant and jeep safari with elephant briefing and bathing elephants include more with the entertainment of local Tharu cultural programs. Chitwan is famous for more than 43 species of mammals including the endangered and elusive "Royal Bengal Tiger".
The park is home to the one-horned Indian Rhinoceros, freshwater Gharial crocodile with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four-horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards, and pythons. Other animals found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bears, palm civets, langurs, and rhesus monkeys. The park is also famous for over 450 species of birds.
Among the endangered birds are the Bengal Florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork, and White Stork. Common birds in the park include Peacocks, Red Jungle fowl, and different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers, and Woodpeckers, the best time for bird watching is in March and December Breakfast after short morning nature activities, and lunch between safaris by 1 p.m. Then rest, late afternoon safari of few hours followed with dinner by 7-8 p.m.

4Enjoy morning short activities before breakfast, and then be ready for the drive of more than 5 to 6 hours, an exciting ride heading due west to reach Butwal city and then reach Nepalgunj, as the drive leads around heavily farmland, villages, and town to reach on the outskirt of Bardiya National Park.
The guide and naturalist will brief you about the park and mammals with bird life and tell you about your stay including the program set by the hotel and park management. This will be almost similar to Chitwan safari activities with the difference, here you will encounter fewer tourists or none season-wise.

5Bardiya National Park, situated in the far mid-western part of Terai, east of the Karnali River, is one of the largest undisturbed of complete jungle wilderness. The park is covered with Sal forests like in Chitwan, the remaining balanced mixture of grassland, savannah, and riverine forest. The park provides excellent habitat for endangered animals like the rhinoceros, wild elephant, tiger, swamp deer, blackbuck, Gharial, and marsh mugger crocodiles, including rarely spotted Gangetic dolphins.
Endangered birds are Bengal Florican, Lesser Florican, silver eared, and Sarus crane. More than 30 different mammals, over 200 species of birds, and many snakes, lizards, and fish have been recorded in the park's forest, grassland, and river habitats. A good number of residents and migratory birds are found in the park.
Jungles activities include elephant rides, jungle drives, nature walks as well as visiting local Tharu villages to witness the cultures of an indigenous native of Terai country. After an exciting day back to the hotel with grand memories of some animals sighting, with time to walk around Bardiya's places of interest.
