Dhampus is situated in the west north of Pokhara. We will go by private van from the hotel to Phedi and we will walk to Dhampus. Dhampus showcases the Himalayas range accompanied by the local culture, Gurung community, and tradition. The trail is decorated with rhododendron flowers.

About 2 nights and 3 days walk, where the drive from Pokhara takes you Dhampus Phedi and the climb for few hours to Dhampus village, and then following a ridge with a short climb to Australian Camp, which takes 3-4 hours with a short drive to Phedi. After Dhampus an easy uphill walks into a lovely forest with views of Annapurna Himalaya all the way to Australian Camp.
A perfect country walk for a few days, a pleasant scenic hike with the climb, in the beginning, the rest of the walk after Australian Camp is more downhill. Short gradual climb on route to Sarankot. Australian Camp the original and local name is Thulo Kharka, a cattle grazing pasture field. In the early days around the 1980s, a large group of mountaineering expeditions for Annapurna happen to camp on this spot. Hence the name was tagged as Australian Camp. Sarangkot is famous for stunning sunrise views over the array of Himalayan peaks, as well famous for adventure sports like Paragliding and Zip Flyer, where a walk leads downhill to Phewa lake to end the trek.
