Bhote Koshi also called Upper Sun Koshi, river later joins downstream at Dolalghat making a great Sun Koshi River. A popular river for an exciting rafting adventure, the word Bhot means Tibet in Nepal, hence the name Bhote Koshi. A fast-running river offers challenging rapids to conquer as you raft through holes and drops. As rafting adventure ends downstream around low warm mid-hills, close to the road of Kathmandu-Lhasa / Tibet highway.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Itinerary for Bhote Koshi River Rafting for a day or more:

A morning drive from Kathmandu to reach the put-in point of rafting, where a drive leads beyond Kathmandu valley. Following the main highway of Nepal-Tibet, the route also called Arniko Highway, was named by a famous artist. The first Nepalese to visit Tibet and China in the 14th Century during the regime of Emperor Kublai Khan. On reaching the starting point of rafting a mere distance from the Nepal and Tibet / China border. Where our captain with an inflatable raft and river cress receives you for an exciting float downstream into a rough wild river.

All rafters are equipped with a helmet, and a life jacket with a paddle than on the raft for the thrill of a lifetime. The captain maneuvers the boat from the end giving orders on paddling technique as you float downstream. As you paddle through exciting waves and rapids till the end of the rafting adventure. After an exciting adventure drives back to Kathmandu or stays overnight in one of its nice river resorts.
