Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu via respective airlines and transfer to hotel:

On arrival in Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport via various international airlines, received our guide and staff for a short transfer to the heart of Kathmandu city.

Where is your hotel located, after checking into your rooms, and then meeting other members of the trip at the hotel lobby for a briefing? The briefing includes important information regarding the Best of all Nepal Tour in Nepal, to make your holiday in Nepal more enjoyable.

The evening group welcomes dinner in a lovely Nepalese Restaurant with an introduction to the culture of Nepal with folk dance and music.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu free day for a sightseeing tour at places of interest:

A free day in Kathmandu preparation for the trek includes a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley at places of great historical and religious interest.

The city is steeped with ancient world heritage sites, where the tour takes you around renowned landmarks, like the old Durbar / Palace Square with old Swayambhunath of more than 2,500 years old Stupa, a Buddhist religious monument. Includes the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and the large dome stupa of Bouddhanath of great cultural and religious interest.

A colossal and ancient stupa; with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha, it is said to have been built by Lichchhavi King Mana Dev in the 5th A.D. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels.

The area around is also known as Little Tibet due to a large number of locals of Tibetan origin residing around with many shops and restaurants that make it one of the most interesting parts of Bouddhanath.

After an interesting day around Kathmandu city magnificent cultural and historical places of religious significance. Head back to the hotel for another exciting tour beyond Kathmandu valley the next day.

Day 3 : Drive to Patan and Bhaktapur city then at Nagarkot hill resorts:

A morning tour of Patan or Lalitpur means the city of great arts and craftsmanship, an adjoining city of Kathmandu, where you can observe interesting culture with a tour of its famous temples and monasteries within its old Durbar or Palace square.

From here after an exciting time of a few hours then drive to Bhaktapur 3rd largest city in Kathmandu valley, the city of a great old Malla Kingdom of the 12th to 15th century. A city of immense old culture, traditional art and architecture, pottery and weaving industries, and rich local customs of everyday life.

Nepal's old Malla dynasty's achievement in arts and crafts is reflected in Bhaktapur city. Bhaktapur is also known by woodcarving artists.

Bhaktapur Durbar square is steeped with artistic buildings of Bhaktapur Nytapola Temple, Dattatreya Square with its famous peacock window, Pottery square, and market From here drive to Nagarkot hill town with a visit to the oldest ancient temple of Nepal The Changu Narayan, located on a high hilltop also called Changu or Dolagiri.

The temple area is surrounded by a forest of champak trees and a small Changu village which is north of Bhaktapur. Changu Narayan Temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Lord Visnu, the temple pagoda style has several masterpieces of the 5th to 12th century of the excellent Nepalese art. After an exciting time around Bhaktapur and Changu-Narayan Temple, continue a short drive uphill to reach cooler air at Nagarkot hill town.

Located North of Bhaktapur 45 minutes to an hour's drive uphill at 2,100 meters high famous for its mountain vista around Kathmandu Valley, stay overnight in a nice hotel or resort, for striking sunrise over a chain of Himalayan peaks with views as far as Mt. Everest in the eastern horizon.

Day 4 : Drive to Gorkha town 1,440 m and Mankamana temple, -06 hours:

In the morning after a hearty breakfast with stunning sunrise and views of the Himalayan range of peaks, start our next tour by taking a drive to Nepal Mid-West to the historical town of Gorkha.

As the drive leads beyond Kathmandu valley towards low and warm areas, an opportunity to witness Nepalese rural villages and towns On reaching Kuringtar village above Trisuli River, take a short ride on Cable-Car or Ropeway to reach Mankamana temple. It an interesting to observe locals from all parts of Nepal on a religious visit for worship to Mankamana.

Various forms of Durga or Parvati a Hindu goddess, and then back to your vehicle for a short drive uphill to Gorkha town. Then transfer to the best hotels available.

Afternoon tour of the old Shah Dynasty palace a fortress that stands above the town of Gorkha, this is the place where King Prithivi Narayan Shah in the 17th Century, started the conquest of the country's different smaller kingdoms and unified into a single nation to one big country Nepal.

From the palace-fortress tour the interesting bazaar of Gorkha town, and retire back to your hotel after a great interesting drive and tour of the old palace fort.

Day 5 : Drive to Bandipur town to witness lively culture:

The morning after a nice overnight in Gorkha town, a few hours drive heading west on the main Pokhara highway to near Dumre town, and then uphill to reach Bandipur, a town atop of hill facing grand views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, and Annapurna Himalaya Mountain range.

On arrival transfer into a nice cottage-type lodge or in a Home-Stay of the local traditional environment.

Bandipur a socio-cultural diversity of ancient Newari Hilltown, untouched by modernization with ancient brick houses, temples of great significance, and architecture of medieval-era town boasts festivals all year round, besides a plethora of cultural offerings, Neighboring Magar, Gurung, Brahmin, Chetri, Damai and Sarki villages all contribute the cultural diversity of the region.

Afternoon enjoys walks around this old town enriched with the lively culture of age-old traditional farm life in the shade of high snow-capped peaks. Evening enjoys the local folk culture program as you have dinner in pleasant surroundings.

Day 6 : Day 06: Drive to Pokhara 860 m, -03 hours.

Morning from Bandipur has a good breakfast then depart for Pokhara, a scenic and renowned touristic city, drive leads within farm villages facing views of Manaslu, Lamjung with Annapurna range of peaks as you reach Pokhara.

Our guide takes you to a nice hotel by the calm Phewa Lake where all nice hotels are located, with time in the afternoon for a leisurely stroll around the lakeside facing views of the lake and snow peaks of the Annapurna Himalaya range.

Day 7 : In Pokhara tour of Sarangkot for sunrise and sightseeing:

Early morning before breakfast, having warm drinks depart from the hotel for a short drive to the high scenic hill at Sarangkot, a famous viewpoint for a stunning sunrise over an array of Himalayan peaks that includes Mt. Dhaulagiri- Mt. Annapurna to Mt. Manaslu with bird-eyes views of Pokhara green valley and the city with Lake Phewa, Sarankot a popular spot for Adventure sports like Para-Gliding and Zip Flyer as well.

After enjoying glorious views of the sunrise over a mountain range, drive back to the hotel for a hearty breakfast, then be ready for the next tour of Pokhara around places of interest.

Short drive to Pokhara's main local center to view Seti Gorge, a river that flows right into a deep narrow gorge. From here drive south of the city to visit David / Devi or Pathle Chhago Water Falls and the Gupteshwor large cave with a shrine of Lord Shiva.

After an enjoyable day head back to the hotel in the afternoon for short walks around or just relax and marvel at the views of Annapurna and Machhapuchare Himal the famous Fish-Tail peak.

Day 8 : Drive to Tansen Palpa, -06 hours:

Depart from the hotel for an exciting drive to reach Nepal Far South West, where Lumbini birthplace of Buddha located, around the low and sub-tropical country at Terai-belt the flatland, drive heads south on leaving Pokhara valley and mid-hills of Syangja town to Butwal city, to reach Tansen, Palpa for an overnight stop.

Tansen is a nice old town with artistic Newar houses of cobbled paved streets the Newar traders and businessmen from Kathmandu migrated to Tansen to trade, bringing with them their art and architecture.

The picturesque town of Tansen, the headquarters of Palpa District, and the hub of the culture of the mid-west. Overnight in a nice hotel and relax, with time to browse around the bazaar of Tansen to witness the local immense culture.

Day 9 : Drive to Lumbini birthplace of Lord Buddha, -03 hrs:

From Tansen not far to reach Lumbini our next destination, the morning after a short tour around places of great heritage interest. Then drive further southwest to reach Lumbini, and transfer to a nice hotel.

Afternoon visit Lord Buddha’s birthplaces with historical sites, Lumbini a traditional birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the great founder of Buddhism, born in the 6th Century B.C. Besides the birth site of Buddha, an interesting spot of Emperor Asoka, who visited Lumbini and constructed four stupas and a stone pillar.

Asoka’s Pillar bears an inscription that translates as: "King Piyadasi (Asoka), The holy site of Lord Buddha rediscovered in 1895 by a German archaeologist as he came upon Asoka’s Pillar, identified the inscription, as well records made by the Chinese pilgrim Fa Xian were also used in the process of identifying this religiously acclaimed site.

Lumbini was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. After an interesting tour back to the hotel with time to stroll around the street and market at Lumbini.

Day 10 : Drive to Chitwan National Park premises and transfer to hotel:

The morning after a good breakfast an exciting drive to Chitwan through the Himalayan Foothills, and then reach Tadi Bazaar around Chitwan, from here a short drive to reach your hotels at Saura town near the entrance of the park premises, where all the best hotels are located.

After checking in, briefing by the jungle guide and naturalist of the jungle programs, getting refreshed and resting start the afternoon activity with a short walk to Tharu village, the indigenous tribe of Terai. Evening enjoys the dinner with an exciting Tharu cultural dance performance.

Day 11 : Full-day jungle safari in Chitwan National Park:

At the lodge and hotels, your jungle programs according to the time-table start early morning, before breakfast with various activities, such as follows morning Bird Watch Tour, Machan (Watch Tower) Tour, Jungle walks, nature walks, elephant and jeep safari with elephant briefing and bathing elephants include more with the entertainment of local Tharu cultural programs. Chitwan is famous for more than 43 species of mammals including the endangered and elusive "Royal Bengal Tiger".

The park is home to the one-horned Indian Rhinoceros, freshwater Gharial crocodile with many other common species such as gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four-horned antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards, and pythons.

Other animals found in the park include sambars, chital (spotted deer) barking deer, sloth bears, palm civets, langurs, and rhesus monkeys. The park is also famous for over 450 species of birds.

Among the endangered birds are the Bengal Florican, the Giant Hornbill, the Lesser Florican, the Black Stork, and White Stork. Common birds in the park include Peacocks, Red Jungle fowl, and different species of Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flycatchers, and Woodpeckers, the best time for bird watching is in March and December.

Breakfast after short morning nature activities and lunch between safaris by 1 p.m. Then rest, late afternoon safari of few hours followed with dinner.

Day 12 : Drive to Dhulikhel, -06 hrs:

Morning, options for nature walks and bird-watch tours having breakfast at Chitwan then driving to Kathmandu heading past many farm villages and the town of Chitwan areas, and then following Trisuli River for some time then on winding uphill to reach Kathmandu valley outskirt, and then following the Ring Road that circles the boundary of Kathmandu city. Heading east past Bhaktapur to reach an old Newar town in Dhulikhel overnight in a nice mountain resort.

Dhulikhel like Nagarkot is famous for sunrise and sunset views over a range of Central and Eastern Himalayas snow peaks. With time visit the town streets with the lively local culture. Dhulikhel at 1, 440 m a small town with old history, and records show that it has been around for more than 500 years. The artistic skill and urban ethos of its Newar inhabitants have created a place of charm and beauty.

Streets lined with bare-brick houses, carved wooden windows, sloping title roofs, pagoda temples, and sacred statues everywhere. You will think you have wandered into a cultural theme park.

Day 13 : Back to Kathmandu of a few hour drive with a visit of Namobuddha:

Morning catches the early sunrise over a range of snow peaks, having breakfast heading for Kathmandu, taking a short tour of Namobuddha, a holy Buddhist site in a tranquil environment of lovely woodland. Where supreme Buddha at the time still on the path of learning-offered his own body, without regret to a tigress suffering from great hunger.

What follows is a history of this supreme and distinguished sacred site, whose location is unmistaken based on the clear identification given in the Sutra Requested by the Tigress and so forth.

After a grand tour of Dhulikhel and Namobuddha, an hour's drive on a good road to Kathmandu where our amazing Best of all Nepal Tour completes nearly two-week duration. Afternoon free at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

Day 14 : Departure Day for International flight homeward bound:

On your last day in Nepal, as the time for your international flight our staff transfer you to the airport for homeward bound, after an enjoyable adventure and great wonderful experience on the Best of all Nepal Tour.
