The adventure begins with a tour of Kathmandu's famous world heritage sites, steeped with Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries, and stupas. Including the old magnificent Royal palace of past centuries and then getting familiar with Nepalese culture, ready for the trek. Starts with a super scenic short flight to Lukla, a popular town due to its small airport. The starting and ending points of various adventures around Khumbu within the high Everest region. A pleasant walk to begin with on a gradual path following lovely Sherpa villages, adorned with Buddhism monuments.

Then soon enter Sagarmatha National Park near Monjo village, the park which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From the park within a cool shade of rhododendron, pine forest with a slow climb to famous and colorful Namche Bazaar. A place with many facilities for travelers with all types of accommodation from simple lodges to Porsche hotels and resorts. Spending two nights at Namche to support acclimatization against high altitude symptoms known as AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Which can occur, to anyone if one is not careful and not taking precautions. From Namche, after a relaxing and pleasant time walk takes you on a wide scenic trail with a climb above Tengboche Monastery. Located amidst beautiful woodland facing marvelous views of snow-capped peaks with Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam.
 
At Tengboche, with time for an interesting tour of the monastery, and then carry on with our mission. Heading towards high Mountain Wilderness to reach Everest base camp with lovely overnight stops at Pangboche and Dingboche. From Pangboche villages onwards, although the lodge is nice and comfortable due to freezing temperatures during night and morning time. Most toilets and baths are placed outside the lodge. This makes good common sense as it was wont flush due to the cold and harsh climate. From the nice comfort of the lodge at Lobuche head towards our main goal and highlights to Everest base camp. The walk takes you with a climb over the moraine of rocks and boulders to reach Gorakshep. A small settlement with several lodges to stay, at one time an earlier Everest base camp.

Before it was shifted further east of a few hour's walks to reach Expedition Everest base camp. Enjoy the success and achievement of a lifetime experience overlooking incredible views of giant peaks with Lhotse, and Nuptse. Within close to Khumbu Ice-fall and glaciers, from the base camp view of Mt. Everest is not impressive. Where next early morning climb takes you on top of Kalapathar at 5,545 m, the highest point of the adventure.

From the high spot enjoy a stupendous panorama of the world's tallest peaks with the closest and clear views of Mt. Everest. After a rejoicing moment return journey back to Lukla, on an easy downhill route with a few short steep climbs. Reach back at Namche and then onwards to Lukla for the next early flight to Kathmandu to conclude our fabulous adventure. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines:

On reaching Kathmandu via various international airlines, at the airport our guide and staff for short transfer in the heart of Kathmandu city. Where your hotel is located, after checking into your rooms, and then meet other members of the trip at the hotel lobby for briefing. Regarding Everest Luxury Trek, information includes other useful information to make your holiday in Nepal more enjoyable. The evening group welcomes dinner in a lovely Nepalese Restaurant with an introduction to the culture of Nepal with folk dance and music.

Day 2 : In Kathmandu, options for a tour and trek preparation:

A free day in Kathmandu preparation for the trek to Everest base camp luxury trek, with a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley's major cities, steeped with ancient world heritage sites. you will be briefed about the Everest Base Camp luxury trek by the guide. The agents will help you sort and prepare the required documents for the trek and will also guide you in picking the bags with the necessary clothing, food items, and equipment. You can visit places like Patan, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You can visit world heritage sites like Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, or Pashupatinath. Stay overnight at the respective hotel.

Day 3 : Fly to Lukla 2,820 m start trek to Phakding 2,620 m, -04 hrs:

Departure from the hotel as early as possible by latest 5:30 a.m. or 6 a.m. Having breakfast, and leaving unwanted items for storing in the hotel. Our staff and guide will transfer you for the short drive to Kathmandu domestic airport. After checking in for security, and then proceed to an airfield to board in a small aircraft, either Dornier or Twin Otter. With a maximum of 15 to 18 seated planes, as the plane lifts off enjoy a panorama of Himalayan peaks, where the route leads North East with views of Mt. Everest as the plane makes landing at a small airfield in Lukla. The airport is named Tenzing and Hillary, a tribute to the first legendry conqueror of Mt. Everest. At Lukla getting organized with the heavier baggage to be carried by porters and on pack animals known as Jhopkyo (a mixed breed of Yak and lower region cows or ox), The trail leads around many lovely Sherpa villages adorned with Buddhist prayer walls and monuments to reach Phakding for an overnight stay in a nice moderate lodge.

Day 4 : Trek to Namche Bazaar 3, 440 m, -06 hrs:

Walk today takes you to the famous Namche Bazaar the hub of Khumbu villagers, as well as trekkers. Where once a week, a colorful and busy market is held every Saturday walk leads to cross few bridges over Dudh Koshi glacial rivers to reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, where a ticket to be shown of purchased. Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepal, while the Sherpa knows as Chomolungma of Tibetan origin language. From here reach the last village of Jorsalle before Namche Bazaar, for a lunch break, and then continue to walk following the river on a bank, within the cool shade of pine and rhododendron forest. On crossing the last high bridge, along undulating uphill for a few hours to reach Namche Bazaar for two overnights stops. Enjoy the views of Kwangde and Tharmasarku peaks from the lodge in Namche and then check into your rooms for refreshing rest before dinner time in a large warm and cozy dining hall.

Day 5 : At Namche Bazaar for rest and acclimatization:

Free day in Namche for necessary rest and a short hike to view-points which is a good way to support acclimatization. Enjoy leisure morning with breakfast and hike to Namche viewpoint overlooking Mt. Everest and the beautiful peak of Ama Dablam with other adjoining peaks. Visit the museum offers full information about the Khumbu region. Energetic people can take a hike up to Everest View Hotel for a few hours.

Day 6 : Trek to Tsenga near Lobesa village in Everest Summit Lodge / Resort 3, 520 m, -05 hours walk:

From Namche Bazaar morning steep climb for an hour, with grand bird-eye views of Namche Bazaar down below, facing grand scenery of surrounding landscapes includes majestic snow-clad peaks. On reaching the top ridge at Syangboche, a place with an old short airstrip, and then a slow easy climb to and down to Khunde village, visit the hospital run by Himalayan Trust, built and funded by Edmund Hillary. After an interesting time walks towards a valley floor to another large village at Khumjung. Khunde and Khumjung, quite different from Namche Bazaar with many traditional houses located in a glacial valley. At Khumjung tour of 500 years old Buddhist monastery, the only place that has preserved a scalp believed to be of a Yeti. With some donation can witness the Yeti Scalp, within the main monastery prayer hall, from here an easy downhill walk to Sanasa village and then to our overnight stop at Tsonga. A beautiful isolated spot, away from villages and main trekking trails, one of the best chain resorts around high Khumbu of Everest Summit.

Day 7 : Trek to Pangboche 3, 900 m with the visit of Tengboche Monastery at 3, 867 m, -05 hours:

The morning after breakfast, an easy stroll facing excellent views of Khumbu peaks with Everest, and then down to Imjatse River at PhunkiTenga, a small settlement popular mid-day stops of trekkers for lunch or refreshments. From here on steep winding uphill for some hours within the cool forest to reach a small scenic plateau at Tengboche and its colorful monastery. The area is surrounded by an array of peaks with grand views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam with a range of adjoining high mountains.

Herewith time to visit the impressive monastery interior of great Buddhism religion interest. From Tengboche enjoy the views of snow-capped peaks, and then an easy descend to reach a strong metal bridge, On crossing the bridge above Imjatse River, a slow uphill climb to Pangboche village with closest views of beautiful Ama Dablam, and then retire back to your lodge in another chain resort of Everest Summit, rest of the afternoon relax and visit the upper Pangboche village with an old monastery. Pangboche, the last permanent village on route base camp, the other places are just temporary settlements that cater the requirement to travelers with lodges and restaurants.

Day 8 : Trek to Dingboche 4,410 m, -05 hrs:

From here onward tree lines disappear for short bushes of juniper and dwarf rhododendron bushes. The walk takes you higher to reach scenic Imjatse valley, where Dingboche located for an overnight halt, enjoy the view of Island Peak towards the east of the valley floor.

Day 9 : Rest day for local hike and acclimatization:

Another deserving rest day, for good acclimatization where one takes a hike uphill to a ridge called Nagarjun. Where you can enjoy the panorama of peaks with Lhotse, Island Peak, Ama Dablam North Face as far as the world's 5th high Mt. Makalu in the east. Rest of the afternoon enjoy a stroll around Dingboche with many good lodges and shops or just relax with the mountain views.

Day 10 : Trek to Lobuche 4, 940 m, -05 hrs:

Slowly our adventure heads towards our first highlight to reach Everest base camp and climb of Kalapathar high hilltop. The morning starts with a steep climb of less than half an hour to a ridge festooned with prayer flags and Buddhist monuments. Enjoy the great views, as the walk continues on easy up to reach a small settlement of Thugla. Where massive Khumbu glaciers melt into torrential cold streams. A favorite stop for trekkers heading both ways to Everest base camp, Lobuche, or down to Dingboche and Pheriche valley. After lunch at Thugla, afternoon an hour climb towards Thugla's small pass where you can notice many tombs and memorials of unfortunate climbers. After a short good rest, a slow and easy walk but strenuous due to thin air and high altitude to reach overnight stop at Lobuche. Lobuche at 4,940 m / 16,210 feet, situated about 150 km (93 mi) east of Kathmandu, located near the foot of Khumbu Glacier, approx. 8.5 km South-West from Everest Base Camp.

Day 11 : Trek to Everest base camp 5, 364 m via Gorakshep 5, 180 m, -06 hrs:

Today, our walks lead to one of the highlights at Everest base camp, although a short distance. But takes strenuous hours of walking due to high altitude and air pressure. Start on the easy path and up above Khumbu glaciers over moraines of rocks to reach Gorakshep. The highest human settlement before base camp with few lodges to stay for overnights after visiting Everest base camp. From Gorakshep heed slowly taking more than two hours to reach base camp, feeling wonderful. Standing beneath the world's tallest peaks and close to massive Khumbu icefalls and glaciers. Enjoy the stupendous scenery of high giant snow peaks then back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop, after a great day adventure.

Day 12 : Climb to Kalapathar 5,545 m and trek to Pangboche, -06 hrs:

Early morning climb to the highest rocky hilltop of Kalapathar, which means black rock. A vigorous steep climb due to altitude gain but worth it as you stand on top, overlooking the grand panorama. Where Mt. Everest will be at the closest distance with Mt. Pumori ahead after a breathtaking moment descends back to Gorakshep. After breakfast continues treks downhill past Lobuche and Thugla and walks towards the wide exposure and the windy valley of Pheriche for a lunch stop. This is where NRA post located (Nepal Rescue Association), an afternoon with short upon crossing a river with downhill to reach overnight halt at Pangboche village.

Day 13 : Trek to Tsenga, -05 hrs:

Morning enjoys close views of Ama Dablam and then morning leads to descending crossing a river with a climb up to Tengboche, enjoy another glorious panorama of the mountain range. From here onward back into green vegetation and tall tree lines. The walk leads downhill to Imjatse River, then a slow steep climb of less than an hour with a pleasant walk to Tsenga for overnight comfort in a nice mountain resort.

Day 14 : Trek to Monjo 2, 880 m via Namche Bazaar, -06 hrs:

Morning walk-up to Shanasa village, and then walk gets better on a gradual winding path to reach Namche for a possible lunch stop. Afternoon walks downhill to reach by the river bank and the past Sagarmatha National Park to reach a nice Monjo village for overnight in a lovely resort. Enough time in the afternoon to browse around this lovely village, and just relax and enjoy views of Tharmarsku and Kwangde peaks.

Day 15 : Trek to Lukla, -06 hrs:

Last day walk on an easy gradual winding trail, with last final climb to reach at the end of the trek in Lukla for lunch and last overnight around high Khumbu and Everest region.

Day 16 : Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

On achieving great triumph and success on top Island peak, depart from the lodge to Lukla airport, where the morning flight reaches you back at Kathmandu. From the airport, transfer to your respective hotels with a free day to enjoy the hustle-bustle city life of Kathmandu.

Day 17 : Spare day with an optional tour in Kathmandu:

It is always best and wise to have a spare or contingency day, in case of flight delay and might lead to cancellation. Due to bad unfavorable weather conditions for small planes to operate which can happen even in the best time of the seasons. On this free day, one can enjoy individual activities and shopping for souvenirs or take a tour of Kathmandu's ancient cities site within Kathmandu, Patan, or Bhaktapur.
