Nar Phu Trek takes you to the wild and unexplored region of Nar Phu Valley, that stands north of Mt. Annapurna. Nar Phu is a rugged mountainous valley, which makes Nar Phu an enthralling experience for people loving exotic geography. 
The trek starts off as you reach Jagat, passing through the popular Annapurna Circuit trail branching off from Koto to the Nar Phu valley. Next, you reach the Kang La Pass which offers an amazing landscape of the Annapurna Massif. The pass opens up to a huge expanse of snow-capped peaks, ancient villages and grazing settlements. This mountainous valley offers medieval Tibetan culture, magnificent mountain view, and great alpine sceneries. Next, you will head up to Thorong La Pass for a terrific experience with the high mountains standing before you. Descending down to Muktinath offers a popular pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists. Next, you will reach Jomsom enjoying nature in its placid form. Finally, you will fly to Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu Valley (1300m)

After you land at Kathmandu Valley, our representatives will receive you at the Tribhuwan International Airport. You will be taken to the respective hotel and our representatives will help you through the check-in process. You can rest until the dinner which will be an authentic Nepali cuisine. You will stay overnight at Kathmandu valley and take a  tour the next morning.

Day 2
Sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu holds historical, and mythical importance for its existence to be once under the lake. The valley holds many historical attractions enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage. The popular destinations are Swayambunath (popular as Monkey Temple among the foreign trekkers) which reveals a hilltop view of the valley, Pashupatinath (a very sacred temple among the Hindus and Lord Shiva followers), Bouddhanath (a dome-shaped Buddhist shrine, that depicts the Tibetian culture). 

At noon, you will have an orientation with the experienced trekking guide and the fellow participants in your great feat. You will learn about the trekking discipline, safety tips, and experiences from the guide.

Day 3
Drive to Jagat (1100m)

After your breakfast in Kathmandu, you will shortly depart for Jagat. The drive is long and can take up to 9 hours of driving. The drive will offer you pleasant countryside, rivers, terraced farms, and mountain glimpses. The journey gets bumpy and dusty after Besisahar but offers beautiful sceneries and countryside lifestyle. You will stay overnight in Jagat and rest for the trek starting tomorrow.

Day 4
Trek to Dharapani (1960m) [8 hours]

The trek to Dharapani begins shortly after your breakfast in Jagat. The train descends slowly to the river and ascends through the lush forest passing through a sharp cliff that offers picturesque river sceneries. You will pass through Chyamje witnessing the amazing backdrop of Annapurna range. After passing through the suspension bridge, you will climb a steppe, slippery, and physically challenging route to Sattale. Trekking along the trail, you descend to grassy riverbank that leads to Tal. The uneven, windy trail from Tal reaches the village of lush forest, Krate. Further trek along the amazing waterfall and cliffs, you will reach Dharapani for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Trek to Koto (2610m) [6 hours]

The trek from Dharapani passes through Bagarchhap shortly after the trek through the dense pine and fir forests. Bagarchhap offers whitewashed monastery and an exotic cultural experience. The trek resumes towards Danaque and ascends further to Timang. You can enjoy the mountain scenery of Mt. Manaslu (8163m) and Peak 29 (7871m). The trail passes through pine forests reaching Latamarang for a lunch break. Shortly, you will resume the trek witnessing the Annapurna II (7937m) and reach Koto for an overnight stay.

Day 6
Trek to Meta (3560m) [8 hours]

Further trek requires an area permit. Our guide will handle the process and trek you through the river banks of Soti Khola, amazing pine forests, streams, and suspension bridges to reach Dharmasala where you will enjoy your packed lunch and continue trekking through the alpine forests ascending steeply towards Meta village. Meta is a Tibetian plateau where you can enjoy an amazing landscape of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal (6983m). Overnight stay at Meta.

Day 7
Trek to Phu Gaon (4250m) [8 hours

The trek passes through multiple streams, suspension bridges to reach Kyang where you can see the remnants, ruined forts of Khampa settlement. Khampa refugees from Tibet captured and lived here long ago. You will pass through the Phu Khola and rocky trails to reach Phu village for overnight stay.

Day 8
Acclimatization in Phu Village

You will rest in Phu village before trekking further to allow your body to adapt to the altitude. You can explore the cultural and natural diversity found in this lost village. The religious practices of ethnic groups like Lama, Ghale, and Gurung can be richly experienced. You can learn about agriculture, farming, and seasonal migrations practiced here. You can visit the old Buddhist Monastery - Tashi Lakhang, enlisted under the top 108 monasteries around the globe. The valley offers an amazing view of Himlung Himal and snow-capped peaks in the region.

Day 9
Trek to Nar (4110m)

The trail descends towards the Mahendra Pul for 4 hours, passing multiple streams and suspension bridges. You will pass the high suspension bridge over the George of Lapche river and have lunch in Mahendra Pul. After the lunch, the trail ascends steeply passing many stupas until Nar village in 2 hours. You will find several Buddhist monasteries and glorious vistas of Pisang and other small snow-capped peaks. You will stay overnight in Nar.

Day 10
Acclimatization in Nar village

On this day, you can explore the Nar village or take a short hike nearby to explore the natural scenery around Nar valley. Our guide will instruct and prepare you for the ascend to Kang La Pass tomorrow.

Day 11
Ascend to Kang La Pass (5322m) [8 hours]

The ascend to Kang La Pass can be difficult due to high altitude and around 8 hours of trek. You will move out early and head to the Kang La Pass where you will witness the wondrous Annapurna Massif. Next, you will descend to Ngwal for your overnight stay.

Day 12
Trek to Manang [5 hours]

You will head to Manang on this day. On the way, you will pass through the remote village of Paugh which provides an amazing landscape of the Annapurna range. The trek softly ascends to Mungli which connect our route to the Annapurna Trail. You will shortly reach Manang and set up camp for the overnight stay.

Day 13
Trek to Yak Kharkha [4 hours]

The trek from Manang crosses a stream to climb a village of Tenki and climbs out of Marshyangdi valley trailing northwest to the valley of Jarsang Khola. The trail moves further north, passing few grazing langs and, dense juniper trees. The trail passes the village of Ghunsa where you can behold a cluster of flat mud roofs below the trail. You will shortly reach the pastured land where yaks and horses graze. Following the trail and crossing a small river, you pass an ancient old Mani wall in a pleasant meadow and finally reach the small village of Yak Kharkha for an overnight stay.

Day 14
Trek to Thorong Phedi (4600m)

On this day, you will reach the foot of the Thorong La Pass in around 3 hours. The village is a small settlement for the trekkers and climbers. You will rest and prepare for the ascend tomorrow. Although trekkers wish to attempt the High camp on the same day, it is not advised to spend the night in higher altitude.

Day 15
Trek to Thorong La Pass (5416m) and to Muktinath (3800m) [8 hours]

You will ascend the Thorong La Pass at the whopping height of 5416m on this day. With an early start, you will slowly ascend the icy trail enjoying the beautiful mountain vistas despite the strenuous trek. You will descend to Muktinath and reach by sunset. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage for Hindu and Buddhist followers. You can stroll the popular destination for temples and monasteries. You stay overnight in Muktinath.

Day 16
Trek to Jomsom (2715m) [6 hours]

You will descend further down to the dramatic Kali Gandaki gorge. The trail passes by Jharkhot and Khinagar villages which have strong Tibetian influence on architecture. The trail follows the banks of Kali Gandaki and eventually leads to Jomsom. You will stay overnight in Jomsom.

Day 17
Flight to Pokhara (827m)

After your breakfast, you will fly to Pokhara. The scenic flight passes through the gorge of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. The scenic flight ends in 30 minutes, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of Pokhara. You will be transferred to a hotel by the lakeside which is best for relaxation. You can enjoy the walk along the bank of Fewa lake, the second largest lake in Nepal. You can spend the day boating, or hiking to the World Peace Pagoda. You will stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 18
Drive to Kathmandu (1300m)

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu enjoying the hilly roads with the scenery of green hills. After your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. You can rest for the day or stroll around Thamel, shopping for souvenirs. You can go clubbing with your guide, or fellow companions. You will enjoy the dinner in the evening as a farewell and an accomplishment for your great feat.

Day 19
International Departure

After the long strenuous journey, the trek has ended with a great achievement. You will be dropped to the international airport by our coordinates. As you board your flight, the grand gesture from our team will make you want to come back to your another thrilling adventure in Nepal.
