Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is a chance to visit the world's tallest mountains. The diverse flora and fauna in the Annapurna Conservation Area add a delight. You can interact with the local people of Gurung and Sherpa, who are highly praised for their bravery and skillfulness and know about their lifestyle and hardships.
The main highlights of this trek include Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7273m), Gangapurna (7454m), and the Fish Tail peak of Machhapuchhare (6997m). You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise from Poon Hill, and enjoy the beautiful panorama.
The trek begins from Nayapul, where you will slowly get separated from the busy and bustling city rush and immerse into a peaceful and calm nature. You will follow the steep climbs and descents, through moraines and avalanche paths, and ascend the Annapurna Base Camp. You also rest at the Machhapuchhare Base Camp, on a lower altitude. Machhapuchhare Base Camp in iteself is a heavenly trail offering sky-high views of Himchuli, Gangapurna, and the Machhapuchhare. The trail stumbles across moraines and reaches the world of ice and snow. From the sancutary, you will see the incredible 360-degree view of the Annapurna range and the massive Annapurna glacier. Witnessing the mightiest mountains, and grabbing a lifetime experience, you will trace back to Chomrong, and then to the Jhinu Danda where you can enjoy the natural hot spring. Following the trail through the rhododendron forests, you reach Pothana and to Dhampus Phedi. From Phedi, you get onto a bus, drive to Pokhara and end the hike.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu Valley (1300m)

You will be picked up from the International Airport by our representatives who will transfer you to a good hotel. Our representative will help you with the check in and any required formalities. You can relax at the hotel and have a short trip to our site for any detailed clarification.

Day 2
Sightseeing around the Valley

Kathmandu Valley has lots of places of religious and cultural importance. You will be taken for sightseeing around Swayambunath (Monkey Temple with a dome shaped pilgrimage situated on a hillock), Pashupatinath Temple (one of the largest temple of Lord Shiva), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath, Patan Durbar square. Some of these sites are enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage sites and are definitely worth taking a tour. You will pack your gears and prepare for the trip starting tomorrow.

Day 3
Drive to Pokhara (850m)

After your early breakfast, you will set out for Pokhara by bus. The tourist bus will take around 7 hours to reach Pokhara, and the ride moves up and down the hilly scenic roads, passing through rivers, terrific terrace-farmed villages, and many more.

Pokhara is a small valley surrounded by magnificent mighty mountains: Annapurna, Fish Tail, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu. The valley rests on the bank of Phewa Lake, and the lakeside is a peaceful escape from the hectic capital, Kathmandu. Resting overnight fills you with energy for your marvelous trek beginning early in the morning. 

Day 4
Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m)

Leaving Pokhara behind and driving for an hour and a half, you will find yourself at the starting line of this trek.
The trek follows the banks of Modi Khola, passing through the village of Birethanti (1015m). Trekking further and a small climb, you pass through Hile (1495m) and climb further reaching your first destination (1570m). The trek is short and serves as a warm up. You can enjoy the wonderful place, and talk to the friendly locals. Stay overnight at the tea house.

Day 5
Trek to Ghorepani (2855m)

After an early breakfast, you will head up a steppe climb to Ulleri. The large Magar village stays at 2080m and gives the amazing scenes of dense forests of oak and rhododendrons. Ascend further to Banthali (2250m), and trek to Nangethati (2460m). The walk over the long stairs finally reaches Ghorepani (2855m). Overnight stay in Ghorepani.

Day 6
Poon Hill (3210m) Excursion and Trek to Tadapani

Hiking very early in the morning, you will follow the best sunrise on this trek. Following the trekking guide, start trekking through the long stairs for the unobstructed sunrise between the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Dhampus, Nilgiri, Annapurna range, Fishtail, Lamjung, etc. The splendid sunrise slowly reveals the mountain surrounding you. An extremely panoramic view that will warm you up. Explore the hillock and descend down to Ghorepani. After your breakfast, follow the route that leads to Tadapani. The route passes through forests of rhododendron, and pine forests and ridges on the way.

Day 7
Trek to Chhomrong (2170m)

Start your day with a steep downhill trek through the rhododendron forests, into the Gurjung village. The village is a Gurung community and following a relatively easy trail from there, reach Chhomrong (2170m) for overnight stay.

Day 8
Trek to Dovan (2600m)

Follow the trail down to the Chhomrong Khola, and begin climbing to Khuldighar (2380m). Khuldigar used to be the Annapurna Conservation Area check post. Trek further following the steep rock bank, through the thickets of bamboo reaching the bottom of the gorge. Trek a little further ahead to reach Dovan for overnight stay.

Day 9
Trek to Machhapuchare Base Camp (3700m)

Leaving Dovan, follow the route straight for two hours. The route slowly winds steep and levels out, running through the thick bamboo forest. Reach the small shrine at Panchen Barah, and climb to Himalaya Hotel. The trail passes a ravine, and avalanche track beyond Hinko, and reaches Deurali(3000m). Following the trail into the sanctuary, pass through avalanche tracks and reach Modi Khola. Follow the river into the Bagar, and climb across the avalanche paths crossing moraine and a stream. Climb up to Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3700m). Enjoy the panoramic views of Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhare and Annapurna range.

Day 10
Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

The trek ascends higher through the snow boulders, and small streams formed from them. The trail opens up into the sanctuary, following a stream and climb through few huts along the moraine. The mighty Mt. Annapurna towers over the sanctuary providing the sensational 360-degree panoramic views along with the Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, etc. The views here are the highlight of the trek and is a wondrous experience and a great achievement.

Day 11
Trek to Bamboo (2310m)

Wake up early, and enjoy the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas from Base Camp. After the breakfast, descend down to Machhapuchare Base Camp, Deurali, Dovan and reach Bamboo (2310m). Enjoy the magnificent waterfalls from where it begins, the beautiful alpine forests and great views of Fishtail and Hiunchuli mountains. Overnight in Bamboo.

Day 12
Trek to Jhinu Danda(1780m) and Hot Spring

Ascend steep to Khuldighar and follow the stone steps to Lower Chhomrong. Climb the Upper Chhomrong following the thousand stony steps. Next, descend to Jhinu Danda for overnight stay. You can enjoy the preferred natural hot spring by following the 15 minutes walk from Jhinu Danda. Relax and release your tiredness in the hot spring.

Day 13
Trek to Pothana (1900m)

Descend the trail, and follow the flat land reaching Himal Pani (Mountain water) where you can enjoy the beautiful waterfall. Ascend gently crossing multiple streams and terrace farms reaching Landruk village (1545m), a big village mixed of Gurung, Magar, and Brahmin families. Ascend to Tolka (1700m), and ascend to Bherikharkha. Follow the steep route to Deurali (2100m) savoring the beautiful panorama of the mountain peaks. Descend gradually through the oak forests reaching Pothana. It is a small town inhabitated by Gurung communities.

Day 14
Trek to Dhampus Phedi, and a short drive to Pokhara

Descending from Pothana through a gradual descend, you reach Dhampus and trekking further ahead reaches Dhampus Phedi. You will get onto a private vehicle and drive to Pokhara. The drive takes no more than 30-40 minutes to reach Pokhara, where you will stay for the night.

Day 15
Drive to Kathmandu

After your breakfast, get onto the tourist bus and head towards Kathmandu valley. The scenic hilly drive passes through Damauli, Mugling, Kurintar, etc. Enjoy the mountain views, green hills, terraced farms, and daily activities. You can opt to fly to Kathmandu, a 30 minutes flight.

Day 16
International Departure

Our representatives will drop you at the airport, a few hours before your scheduled flight and bid farewell with a proper gesture. As you onboard, and fly towards your destination, your memories of the trek will cheer you up, and you will be willing to come back to Nepal for your next adventure.
